Below are some of the topics I typically cover during the day and can be tailored to suit your requirements.
Finding a composition.
Reacting to the conditions.
Thought process before taking an image.
How to make a compelling image by combining light, composition and technique.
Using filters.
Using slow shutter speeds for long exposures.
Shooting in raw and using the histogram to gain the perfect exposure.
Focusing techniques including manual focus.
Controlling the camera in manual mode.
After the day you can send Ian your finished images and he will reply with honest feedback.

A multi-location photography adventure.
Travel between locations during the day.
7 hours of photography tuition or guidance on the day.
Image review after the workshop.
If you would like to visit a cafe or pub for lunch or dinner Just let me know or we can decide on the day. (lunch/dinner is not included).

THE COST
For 1 person £450 for 2 people £600 The workshop is available for 1 or 2 people and runs for 7 hours. These fees are based in Pembrokeshire, for trips further afield, please get in touch for a quotation.

EQUIPMENT AND FITNESS.
Walking boots and a good raincoat are essential!
The course is tailored to suit all abilities but having a camera with full manual control such as a DSLR or mirrorless camera is recommended but not necessarily essential.
If you would like to try filters but don't have your own, just let Ian know beforehand and he will bring a spare set along.
If you would like to try a tripod but don't have your own, again, Ian can bring one along.
Ian is more than happy to tailor the day to suit your requirements and the beauty of the one-to-one workshop is that we can schedule it to fit in with you.

CANCELLATIONS
Please note that the fee for this tour is non-refundable. If you wish to cancel, you will be offered a voucher. You can either use it to purchase my prints and products or put it towards another future workshop. Please read the terms and conditions below before booking.
